As a key member of the communications team at The World Bank’s Chennai office, I played a pivotal role in consolidating and enhancing the team’s offerings to better serve the needs of one of its Vice-Presidential Units (VPUs) and the regional office. This involved creating a comprehensive communications portfolio, designing a streamlined process, and managing all aspects of the project.
Key Responsibilities:
- Portfolio Development: Created a comprehensive communications (comms) portfolio, including a Product Reckoner, templates, requirement forms, workshops, and document services.
- Process Design: Developed a streamlined pipeline process for the team to efficiently manage and deliver projects.
- Project Management: Managed project scope, timelines, and levels of effort, ensuring timely delivery and effective resource allocation.
Achievements:
- Successfully launched the Comms Portfolio internally, generating a steady stream of projects.
- Improved the team’s visibility and enhanced the communication strategy within the VPU.
